Accepting Entries February 1 - February 28, 2025
Teens in grades 7 - 12 are encouraged to share their creativity by entering Dayton Metro Library's annual Teen Art Contest. Entries will be accepted at all library branches from February 1st through February 28th. Teens may enter into one of six categories: Watercolor, Pencil, Photography, Oil/Acrylic, 3D/Sculpture, and Mixed/Other Medium.
Contest Information and Rules:
- One entry per person.
- Students must live or attend school in Montgomery County.
- Pick up an entry form at any DML Branch.
- Indicate grade level (7 - 9 or 10 - 12) and medium category you want to enter.
- Submit your entry to a Branch with a completed entry form (entries without a form will not be accepted).
- Artist names may only appear on the entry form.
- Entries must be original work and content – should not have been previously entered in any contest or published.
- Fan art is excluded.
- No AI art will be accepted.
- Entry contents should be appropriate for a general audience.
- Winners in each category will be notified by March 6th.
- Contestant artwork will be on display beginning March 3rd at the Main Library, in the Third Street Bridge Gallery.
