Thank you to all that attended the October 22nd  Making Your Dayton Metro Libraries Safe: A Community Conversation at the Main branch. This convening was in response the closing of the Southeast branch after a major incident of teen fighting on September 27th.

The goal was to hear thoughts and suggestions as to how we keep our patrons and staff safe at our branches.  As promised, here is a summary of the evening's conversation.

For more information regarding how you can participate in moving the conversation forward to solutions, please contact Alison Knight, Director of Youth Services and Programming at AKnight@daytonmetrolibrary.org.
