Dayton Metro Library will hold its first annual REACH Fest on Saturday, November 19, from 12-5 pm, in the Main Library Eichelberger Forum. This event is presented by Indigenous Advocate and REACH visionary, Stephanie Van Hoose, Mohawk, MBQ, T-MT.
REACH stands for: Representation; Education; Advocacy; Community; and Healing, Health, and Human Rights. Patrons who attend REACH Fest will see Native American/Indigenous dance performances, listen to music, visit vendor booths, interact with live social media and cultural/art creation and stations, enjoy food from area food trucks, and much more. Guests will be present to speak on the issues of education; advocacy in water, land, and air protection; and healing, health, and human rights.
This event is free and families are welcome. The Main Library is located at 215 East Third Street, Dayton, with free parking in the garage on North St. Clair Street.
