Dayton Metro Library’s Tiny Stacks Music Series opens with Daytonian Ric Sexton at the Northwest Branch, Thursday, August 18, at 6 pm. DML, along with Home of Urban Creative Arts and WYSO have collaborated to bring this “reimagining music in the stacks” initiative to the Dayton area.
Sexton, the first of three Tiny Stacks performers, is known to bring high energy and a powerful sound to the stage. With an educational background in music, he has performed with many sports teams, has opened for a major recording artist, and has performed in several states across the country.
Sponsored by Friends of the Dayton Metro Library, the premise of Tiny Stacks is to connect musicians, books, and patrons in one spot. Not only will patrons be able to engage in some of Dayton’s most diverse musical talents, but they will also be able to see the enriching resources DML offers.
The Northwest Branch Library is located at 2410 Philadelphia Drive in Dayton. For more information about the Tiny Stacks Music Series, visit DaytonMetroLibrary.org/TinyStacks or call the Library’s Ask Me Line at 937.463.2665.
