Interacting with Babies

Babies naturally reach out for interaction through babbling, facial expressions, and gestures. When you respond to with the same kind of vocalizing and gesturing back at them, the architecture of their brains changes in ways that are important for later learning. When sharing a book with your baby, watch him or her to see what they look at. Follow their gaze, touch the focal point and talk about that. Tuning in to your baby’s responses helps their brains grow!
