DCRC serves the needs of the Deaf Community through all phases of life, by providing culturally and linguistically appropriate advocacy, day to day support, and education for Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing individuals to promote self-determination and independence.

The mission of the Ohio Deaf Friends of the Library is to advance the quality of deaf resources for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind communities by promoting deaf awareness, and literacy in Ohio.
