Upcoming Meetings

All upcoming Board Meeting will be Held Through Webex

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak the Board Meetings will be held as a Webex meeting to ensure safety through social distancing. Follow the instructions below to join the Webex session. Meetings start at 4:00 p.m.The next meeting will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 4:00 p.m.

The public is invited to watch the meetings of the Dayton Metro Library Board of Trustees via a live stream. Click here to watch the Board Meeting. If you wish to address the Board during the public comment portion of the meeting, contact the Executive Assistant via email at by 12:00 pm the day of the Board meeting. Please include your name, a valid email address, and the topic you wish to address to the Board and a WebEx link will be sent to you prior to the meeting.

Dayton Metro Library Board of Trustees

The Dayton Metro Library Board of Trustees holds monthly meetings. These meetings are generally held on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. Board meetings will be through Webex for the foreseeable future, unless otherwise announced. Special meetings of the Board may be called and notice of the date, time and purpose of any special meetings will be published in the Dayton Daily News and as a part of the Library's web site. Any changes to the date, time and location of a regular meeting will also be on our website.

The general public is welcome to join the Webex meeting. Comments by visitors or by the general public are also welcome. If you wish to be added to the agenda, please contact the library at 937.463.2665 at least twenty-four hours in advance. Please review the Library's Policy for Public Comment.

Facilities Meeting Dates + Minutes

During the Libraries for a Smarter Future building project, the Dayton Metro Library Board of Trustees held a regular monthly meeting to discuss issues related to the planning and building of the new library facilities. The Board no longer holds these meeting but the minutes can be found below.

Dayton Metro Library Records Commission Meeting
The Dayton Metro Library Records Commission is required by law to meet annually. The annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. via Webex.
