Requests for Proposals from Local Foundations

When seeking a grant local, community foundations are much more likely to support your organization than a foundation located elsewhere. There are some upcoming requests for proposals from local foundations available now. Don’t miss these!

AFRICAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY FUND GRANT APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE

The African-American Community Fund (AACF) of The Dayton Foundation is accepting grant requests for its 2017 grant application cycle. All potential applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) before consideration of a full grant application. The LOI deadline for this grant cycle is July 31, 2017.  LOIs are available at http://aacfdayton.org/apply-for-grants/.

Additional information is available on the African-American Community Fund’s website at www.aacfdayton.org, by e-mail at aacf@daytonfoundation.org or by calling The Dayton Foundation at 937.222.0410.

ALLEGRO FUND
The Allegro Fund of The Dayton Foundation is accepting Letters of Intent for the 2017 grant cycle. Previous grant awards have ranged from $5,000 - $10,000.

Letters of Intent must be submitted only as an e-mail attachment to amarcus@daytonfoundation.org by 5:00 p.m. on August 28, 2017. Required documents must be postmarked on or before midnight of the deadline date, or hand delivered by 5:00 p.m. of the deadline date.  Required documentation cannot be faxed or e-mailed.  Incomplete or late proposals will not be reviewed during the selection process.

Applicants are highly recommended to reach out to Aiyana Marcus to discuss your project prior to submitting your LOI. The best way to do this is to make the request via email (well in advance before the LOI due date) and schedule a time to discuss. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
