“Sometimes students just need some focused support with their school work, and that’s not always easy for parents or caregivers to provide,” said Amanda Arrington, Volunteer Manager for the Library. “Rock Your Homework has proven to be extremely helpful to many students - from those who need help with one particular project, to those who benefit from ongoing support.”
Rock Your Homework can be especially helpful in connecting students to the expertise and resources that are available to them. HelpNow from Brainfuse is a free online resource available through the Library’s website, offering lessons, video tutorials and practice tests.
“The best thing about HelpNow is that it provides live, on-demand tutoring with experts,” said Arrington. “Our Rock Your Homework service members can facilitate the use of this tool so that students get the most out of it.”
