Dayton Metro Library is seeking enthusiastic individuals to lead ROCK YOUR HOMEWORK programs at the Northwest and Madden Hills Branch Libraries in Dayton. There will be 11 AmeriCorps Service Member positions available starting in September that include options for 300 hours, 675 hours or 900 hours of service.
ROCK YOUR HOMEWORK is coordinated by Dayton Corps, an AmeriCorps program through ServeOhio, administered by the University of Dayton Fitz Center for Leadership in Community. Training opportunities are offered, stipends for living expenses are available, and members may be eligible for an AmeriCorps education award upon completion of their term of service. AmeriCorps Service Members must be at least 18 years of age, or 17 with parental permission.
