Imagine a single balloon changing one person’s life forever. “Balloonacy” is a tender, uplifting show for children (and adults alike), performed by the Columbus Children’s Theatre Touring Company at the Dayton Metro Library, Thursday, April 18, 6:00-7:00 p.m. The free performance takes place in the Main Library’s Eichelberger Forum, 215 E. Third Street.
“This is a sweet, inventive show packed with physical comedy,” says Julie Buchanan, Library Programming Manager. “It explores the power of friendship and shows how, with a little imagination and acceptance, companionship is everywhere.”
The one-man play features puppetry, physical comedy, and interactive engagement geared toward children first grade and younger, although all ages are welcome. It won an American Association of Theatre in Education Distinguished Play Award.
The Library performance is free and open to the public.
