The New Lebanon Branch of the Dayton Metro Library will host two upcoming exhibits in its Opportunity Space. Both exhibits are free and open to the public during regular Library hours.
Discovering Fossils: What’s Up with These Funny-Looking Rocks?
A display of fossils commonly found in the southwest Ohio region, as well as fossils from other parts of the U.S., on loan from collection of Jim Carr. Mr. Carr kicks off the exhibit with a presentation on Thursday, March 7, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. He’ll discuss items in the exhibit and share his experiences as a fossil hunter.
Dixie Art Exhibit
The annual show of Dixie Middle and High School student art. Art on display represents a variety of media. This is a juried exhibit with ribbons awarded. The community is invited to vote for their favorites as well.
The New Lebanon Branch Library, located at 715 W. Main Street, is open 9:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
