"Own Your Future" Workshiop

Presented by Next Chapter Collaborative and Dayton Metro Library

Older adults who are considering career change, retirement, entrepreneurship or volunteering opportunities are encouraged to attend the Own Your Future Workshop at the Dayton Metro Library. Participants can attend the free workshop on Thursday, November 8, 6:30-8:30 p.m. or Friday, November 9, 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Main Library’s Opportunity Space @ Patterson, 215 E. Third Street.

“This workshop offers self-awareness tools, along with information and resource sharing, all designed to help older adults feel empowered about the transition into their future endeavors,” said Jayne Klose, Dayton Metro Library’s Community Engagement Manager.

The Next Chapter Workshop is for individuals age 50 and older who are thinking about:

  • Changing Careers
  • Seeking Fulfillment in Retirement
  • Starting a Business
  • Looking to be an Expert Volunteer
