The extensively remodeled and expanded West Carrollton Branch of the Dayton Metro Library will soon be back in service! The community is invited to a Grand Re-Opening Celebration on Monday, October 22, 3:00-6:30 p.m. The festivities begin in the parking lot behind the West Carrollton Civic Center, 300 E. Central Avenue, with a ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m.
“We are so excited to welcome the West Carrollton community into their new, improved Library,” said Karen Findlay, West Carrollton Branch Manager. “We’re so looking forward to reconnecting with our regular patrons, and meeting new patrons who want to stop by to see all that’s new in the West Carrollton Branch,” she said.

Regular Library hours resume on Tuesday, October 23:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
(The Main Library in downtown Dayton is open Sundays, 1:00-5:00 p.m.)
The West Carrollton Branch Library has been closed since September 2, 2017, for the expansion project, which is part of the Dayton Metro Library’s system-wide facilities improvement plan. The West Carrollton Branch is the 10th completed project in the Libraries for a Smarter Future facilities improvement plan, made possible by Montgomery County voter support in 2012.
