The Northmont Branch of the Dayton Metro Library is launching a new Book Club that is sure to lift your spirits.
“Uplifting Lit” focuses on Inspirational Fiction, which includes a wide variety of subgenres. The first meeting is Monday, October 1, 7:00 p.m. when the group will talk about The Reckoning at Gossamer Pond by Jamie Wright. “Uplifting Lit” meets at the Northmont Branch Library, 333 W. National Road in Englewood, behind the Government Center.
“Uplifting Lit will focus on books that are found in the Library’s inspirational fiction collection,” said Shari Bowers, Northmont Branch Manager. “This could be anything from Amish fiction to Christian Romance, Mysteries, Fantasy and historical Christian fiction,” she said. “We hope our readers will discover something new they might not have known about before, and we invite people to bring books they’d like to trade with other discussion group members.”
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 937.463.2665 or find the event at here.
