The Library’s Summer Challenge offers free, hands-on experiences to keep kids engaged in learning during the summer months. This summer, with the theme Build A Better World, there are lots of activities focusing on wildlife, the environment and science.
“Kids can experience hands-on learning with experts from Five Rivers MetroParks, the OSU Extension Office and The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery,” said Joanna Rocheleau, Children’s Services Librarian at the Electra C. Doren Branch Library. “These programs are not only fun and educational, they’re free!”
Programs are generally intended for children in grades K-6. For more information, visit the online Events Calendar at DaytonMetroLibrary.org or call (937) 463-BOOK.
