War & Culture: A View of Dayton Women’s Liberation, 1972

In 1972, a slide show of images from typical American life, mixed with images of the war in Vietnam, were set to music and shown in homes, schools \and churches throughout the Miami Valley.

Now the slides and music have been restored and put on DVD by filmmaker Megan Hague.

See this historically important film, “To Kill The Dove,” meet the filmmaker and hear from participants in the Dayton Women’s Liberation movement who were involved in developing and presenting the original program.

Saturday, March 8, 2014  3:00-4:30 p.m. at the Kettering-Moraine Branch, 3496 Far Hills Avenue. This program is FREE!
