Ms. Greene was Principal of the Dayton Normal School 1895 - 1925. The school was later named after her before closing in 1932. Nonprofit Organizations: Get the Most from Facebook(Rescheduled for April 2nd)

Social networking can be a great resource for nonprofit organizations, from recruiting volunteers to soliciting donations and more. Find out how to make Facebook work for you at the Dayton Metro Library's Nonprofit Networking lunch on Wednesday, February 5, Wednesday April 2, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the when the topic is Facebook. Presenter Nicolette Winner is Outreach & Partnership Development Coordinator for Kids Read Now. She has extensive background as a nonprofit trainer and leader. She'll offer practical tips for using Facebook to engage volunteers, donors, and members of the community. The program is designed for the casual user of Facebook who is ready to make the commitment to page management for their nonprofit organization.

The free brownbag lunch takes place in the Main Library auditorium, 215 E. Third Street. Drinks and snacks will be available. To register, call (937) 463-2665 x6501. The topic next month will be Video for Your Nonprofit presented by DATV's Executive Director, Steve Ross, and Marketing Director, Dan Suffoletto, Wednesday, March 5, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
