You're invited to become a Founding Member of the 1888 Society. Every donor who pledges $1,888 or more by December 31, 2016, will be honored on a permanent wall in the Main Library’s beautiful, new atrium. This wall is designed as an artistic, contemporary bookshelf, with your name as the title of a book (with its own call number).
We hope you will join other community leaders in contributing to DML’s critical work with our community’s children, families and organizations. You can download a pledge card online, or call our Foundation offices at 937.496.8516 to learn more about how you can be involved.
The 1888 Society Benefits:
In January 1888, the first Dayton public library building was dedicated in Cooper Park. Since then, the Library has steadily expanded facilities and services across Montgomery County, serving millions of patrons each year and providing unlimited access to knowledge, resources, and experiences for people of every age and background. With your help as part of The 1888 Society, the entire Dayton Metro Library system will excel, providing transformative services for residents of all ages.
