This year all entering kindergarteners will be assessed using Ohio's new KRA (replacing the KRA-L). It covers six areas: Social skills (including the behaviors, dispositions, and attitudes that children bring to social interactions and learning experiences), language and literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, physical well-being and motor development. To learn more about it, parents can visit the Ohio Department of Education's website.
