The 150th Anniversary Celebration of his visit and vision. On September 17, 1859 Abraham Lincoln visited Dayton. He delivered a 2 ½ hour anti-slavery speech on the steps of the Courthouse at 3rd and Main Streets. This one-hour program with music celebrates the 150th Anniversary of his visit with photographs, local newspaper accounts of his speech, Lincoln trivia and the legacy of Lincoln for our times.
