On Monday, August 21, 2017 the Insights for Women in Business team will host an evening event devoted to networking success. Small business owners and entrepreneurs are faced with so many events where they can expand their reach and influence. Amy Gantt, owner of Lula Bell Art and Designs, understands being busy running a business while taking care of a home and family. She understands that networking events are important, but sometimes too prevalent. Not all events provide a return on the investment of time, and or money. So Amy will share her “networking plan” which will help female business owners and entrepreneurs decide which events provide the greatest outcome.
The evening will be held at Corner Kitchen in the Oregon District. Registration will open at 4 p.m. Amy’s presentation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Natalie Skilliter, owner of Corner Kitchen and her team have planned a delightful menu of gourmet appetizers and drinks that will be shared throughout the evening. There will be time for participants to practice the networking skills Amy discusses before the event wraps up at 6:30 p.m.
The cost for this event is $20 and registration is available through the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce website. Space is limited. Any questions can be directed to Ann Riegle-Crichton of Dayton Metro Library at 937-496-8631. Insights for Women in Business is a series of events that allow female entrepreneurs to share their stories of success and their insights with new female business owners and entrepreneurs.
