Barbara Hayde is President of The Entrepreneurs Center. As an entrepreneur herself, she has owned and operated a retail establishment; was president of a public-private partnership in transitional employment; was the first female to manage Memorial Hall; and operated her own consultant firm. She served as Vice President of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce responsible for the Dayton/Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau and as the Executive Director of an association whose mission is to build group homes and assisted living facilities for adult children with developmental disabilities. For ten years she worked for Montgomery County government in various capacities such as assistant director of the Employment and Training Office, a bailiff in Common Pleas Court and a Fraud Investigator. She is a graduate of the University of Dayton. Ms. Hayde is a lifelong resident of Dayton. She and her husband, Ron Budzik, also a UD grad, feel extremely fortunate to have a blended family of 8 children, 8 sons/daughters in laws, and 12 grandchildren all within 90 minutes of Dayton. Ms. Hayde has served on the Library Board of Trustees since April 2006 as an appointee of the Montgomery County Commissioners.
