Marguerite (Margot) LeBreton Merz
Marguerite (Margot) LeBreton Merz is a retired lay minister, having served as a pastoral associate at three parishes. She taught church history and spirituality courses at two universities and three seminaries, and engaged in extensive adult faith formation, spiritual direction, and retreat ministries over the course of 40+ years. She's had a lifelong love of libraries which began in her childhood in Maryland near Washington, D.C. In addition to serving as a Library Trustee, she is a volunteer mentor for a refugee high school student through Dayton Public Schools, and volunteers at Dayton History helping to digitize their historic images collection. She holds an A.B. degree from Harvard University; Master of Theological Studies, Harvard Divinity School; Master of Divinity, St. Leonard College; Doctor of Ministry, Graduate Theological Foundation. Mrs. Merz was appointed June 1, 2008, by Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
